Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University Karad is one of the Medical Colleges in India is reputed for the quality education in the field of medical science. It provides MBBS, for which the requirements are passing the 12th Science with 50% marks and qualifying NEET examination. The BDS admission criteria are 12th science with 50 % mark and the entrance exams accepted are NEET, KCET, MHT CET. The B.Pharm course provides admission to students who have done 12th science with PCB/PCM with 45% in PCB/PCM and also gives importance to entrance exams at the national and state level. The BPT and BOT programmes admit students with 12th science pass qualification with a minimum of 45% aggregate or other examinations like KCET, MHT CET, and NEET.

1. The target group of consumers must have passed their 12th standard in science stream with a minimum of 45% marks. 

2. Obtain application form – For an application, the form can be accessed through the website or can be collected from the university’s administration.

3. For completing the form – Forms which require personal information along with the academic credentials and course preferences have to be completed. 

4. University level Written Test – The applicants are required to write an university level entrance examination. They are awarded after testing and the overall performance of the candidate in the test.

5. Counseling – Depending on the entrance test scores and the preferences aspirants make, counseling sessions are conducted and then the seats are filled by the students.  

6. Choice filling and locking - The last step also involves the candidates who have been allotted the seats and they will have to complete the admission formalities by paying the fees either online mode or offline mode.

KIMSU Karad Ph.D Admission 2024

1. Eligibility criteria - Must have postgraduate degree in related subject with minimum 55% marks. In fact, candidates in the final year of their Master’s program can also join this competition.

2. Submit online application form – submit your details such as academic achievements, research proposals, and area of interest in research. Pay application fees online.  

3. The next level is to sit for the entrance test; this is a general written examination meant to test the candidate’s research ability, subject knowledge, and logical reasoning abilities. Qualifying cut-off is 50%.

4. Interview – Evaluate the research interest by facilitating a panel interview with relevant professionals. Beside written test score, score obtained in interview also taken into consideration.  

5. Check merit list - Based on final score, the list of selected candidate for each institute is prepared and published in the website of the institute.

6. Enrollment and fee payment – After receiving the offer of the supervisor and the topic, pay the fees to secure the place and start the Ph.D program under the supervision of the assigned research supervisor.
