Maharaja Agrasen University Solan is one of the newly established private universities in Solan that offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across various disciplines of management, engineering, sciences, humanities. The admission criteria are different for each course – for instance, for the BTech programs, students must pass their 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Some of the accepted examinations are JEE Mains, HPCET. To get into MBA, a candidate needs to have a bachelors degree with 50% marks. Accepted tests are CAT, MAT. The programmes offered include the under graduate programmes such as BSc, BA, BCom, BCA, MCA, MSc, MA and other post graduate programmes.
Facilities: The university provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in many fields. Exam list dates for the 2024 batch admissions will be conducted in the following exams – CAT/MAT November 2024 & application date May 2024. Admission process involves clearing the entrance tests approved by the university, submission of application form, counselling sessions and final admissions.

7. Submit yourself to the allocated department in university at the required time and finish admission by submitting all original documents and enroll.
Documents Required for Admission in MAU Solan for Different Courses:
Maharaja Agrasen University Solan has established various UG programs in fields of study. The BTech program of Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical departments of REVA University take admission on the basis of JEE Main scores. BSc programs in department are Chemistry, Physics, Maths accept score of JEE Main and CBSE 12th. BA programme in English department takes CBSE/State board 12th marks for admission. MAT/CMAT/CAT/ATMA are other standard tests accepted by BBA and BCA programmes.
The University provides UG courses such as BTech Offered in Sciences Commerce Arts, BSc, BA, BBA, BCA. Depending on the examination pattern, the entrance tests for admission to the 2024 batch will be conducted in May/June 2023. The students can apply online at the university website in the periods of January to April 2024. Selective criteria involves the qualification exam results in order to qualify for admissions.
Maharaja Agrasen University Solan has multiple two years PG departments which are as follows: The MBA in Marketing, Finance, HR and International Business programmes are offered by the Department of Management that require applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score. Eligibility criteria for MTech Programmes like Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering. under the Department of Engineering & Technology is a passed BTech/BE degree in the respective branch with not less than 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and valid GATE score. Many BSc/MSc programs in subjects like Chemistry, Botany, Zoology offered by Science departments admit students with Bachelor’s degree in the respective field with minimum 50% marks and admit students through CSIR-NET/GATE.
1. Examination - Students will be required to clear 10+2 or similar examination from recognized board with minimum percentage as prescribed by the university.
2. Online Application form – All the eligible candidates for the recruitment are required to register themselves on the official website of MAU Solan and submit the online form along with the required information.
3. Documents to be uploaded with the online application: Candidature of the applicant is to be supported by scanned copies of the candidate’s 10+2 mark sheet or certificates, ID proof, photos.
4. Application Fee – Besides the documentary and examination fees, application fee can be paid online or through other methods that is Acceptable while submitting the filled in application form.
5. Merit List – The University has its own merit list and the list of selected candidates is released depending on eligibility, marks and other aspects as per the norms of MAU Solan.
6. Counseling & Admission – The shortlisted candidates must attend the documents verification and counseling sessions on the dates provided for the purpose to enroll themselves.
