Mother Teresa Women’s University in Dindigul Tamil Nadu has already been affiliating several under graduate and post graduate programs majors in arts, science, education and engineering and management. The general requirements are that the student should be a continuing student, or a fresh student who has been offered admission by the University, but the specific requirements differ from one department to another and from course to course. For B.A. English, a qualification of 12th pass in any group with English as one of the groups is needed. For B.Sc Computer Science, the applicant must have passed 12th Science with minimum 50% marks. For pursuing B.Ed course, the candidate must have graduation in any stream with 50 percent marks and qualified TET. B.Tech Computer Science accepts students from 12th Science stream who secured 60% and above and have valid TANCET score. MBA course provides admission to all graduate students irrespective of the percentage of marks they hold in their graduation and they should have a MAT/CAT score.
I have highlighted the admission exams and entrance tests the University offers and undertakes for its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the table below to be conducted in the months of May – August 2024. The exact dates of important exams are TANCET – May 10, MAT – June 15, CAT – July 27 and University exams during the first week of August. Application forms for all courses will be available on the University portal during the month of March 2024. Applicants can submit their application online / offline on or before the last date. The application fee is also required to be paid either through online or through DD with the submission of filled in application form and other documents showing the eligibility for the course. University releases the first and second provisional merit list in the month of July and counselling is done according to timetables before starting of new session in month of August, 2024. Seats are distributed according to the candidates test performance, their choices, rules of reservation and accessibility. Admitted students are required to pay the admission fees that determine their confirmation of the seat they got.

To fill the form online, the candidate needs to log in to the university’s official website www.motherteresawomenuniv.ac.in and select ‘Admission’. Select your preferred course and complete an online application form according to the guidelines specified therein. Scan and upload photographs/signatures/some other documents along with educational certificates/documents as required by the site’s format. The last step is to complete the application fee payment through online banking/debit card/credit card method. After completing the form, save the file and print it to use in the future.
