Admissions for BTech 2024:- JEE Main Exam: January & April 2023,-JEE Advance: May 2023. For PG admissions GATE entrance exam date is February 4th to 12th, and CAT is November 27th to December 11th of 2022 respectively. However, for most exams, registration will begin 3-4 months before the actual tests. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
- The criteria of admission to M.Sc programs is depending on the GATE score OR Other Standardized Tests as deemed by the respective institute/university. Civil engineers who have valid GATE score are eligible for the exam.
- The admission to the M.Sc in Mathematics and Scientific Computing programme is also offered to the students who have failed to secure a valid GATE score, but they have to clear the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM).
- The final list is drawn based on how a candidate fares in the GATE/JAM examination, the marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination, the number of seats available in each branch, and the government policies on reserved category.
- However, unlike some Universities like NIT Jamshedpur does not hold any examination or interview for admission to M.Sc course. Admission is direct and it is open to only those candidates who have appeared and qualified in GATE/JAM examination besides other essential requirements.
- It is mandatory for the candidate to have certain minimum score in GATE/JAM exams which varies as per the institute norms every year. Hopefuls must achieve the stipulated passing grades or cutoff scores as the case may be.

7. After completing the application form online, click on the Download button to download and take a printout of the form with the application number for further use.
