Solapur University is a public state university established in Solapur, Maharashtra, India and this university is known as Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University. It was founded in 2004 and was called Maharani Ahilyadevi Holkar, who was the ruler of the Malwa kingdom. It is UGC approved and acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities among other universities. The NAAC has accorded it a B+ grade in the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. 1. Candidates who want to study undergraduate programs must produce certificate of 12th grade passed from a recognized board, the percentage required differ according to the course. After that the qualifying exam or entrance test would be conducted, and only the applicants with good performance would make it to the final list.
2. For postgraduate programs, candidates need to have a Bachelors degree in the concerned specialty from a recognized University with minimum percentage standards. Selection is done based on past performance in graduation exam and entrance test conducted by the company.
3. Candidates for registration for the Ph.D. and integrated programs shall meet the eligibility criteria of educational qualification and entrance test for the course the candidate is seeking admission.
