Rama University Hapur provides the numerous under graduate and post graduate courses in faculty of engineering, management, science, Education, Agriculture, Arts & Commerce and Law. Based on the department, he or she determines the certain eligibility criteria. For BTech, candidates must complete their 12th standard with physics, chemistry and mathematics and obtained at least 50% in average. Accepted exams mentioned are UPSEE, JEE Mains, CLAT. For BBA and MBA, candidates must have passed 12th in any stream and scoring 50% marks. Accepted standard tests are CAT, MAT, XAT. The graduation courses like BA, BSc, BCom require the candidate to pass 12th in respective stream with minimum percentage varying from 45% to 50% depending on the subjects.
Professional and academic programmes that the university provides are B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc BBA, MBA, BA, MA, LLB, B.Com, M.Com. All programmes are divided into semester systems. The admission process is ongoing, but it is initiated in the month of January every year. While UPSEE is held every year in the last week of April, both CAT and MAT exams are held between October and December of the respective year. University also takes other national level entrance exams such as JEE Mains, CLAT held throughout the year.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Proof of identity - It is mandatory to provide the facilities of Aadhaar card, voter ID card, the driving license, or passport as a proof of identity and residence.
2. Passing certificate and mark sheet of tenth class – Original documents – These are compulsory documents required for submission.
3. Passing certificate of 12th class & Mark sheet for 12th class - Original documents required are the 12th standard passing certificate and the mark sheet.
4. Original Migration certificate – This is the migration certificate from the last attended school/ college.
5. Character certificate – This certificate which should be the original copy is issued from the last school/college attended by the candidate.
6. Colour photographs – 6 latest colour photographs of the size as required for passport are necessary for the admission and identity card.
1. Departments: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Distance, Education, Business, IT, LLB, Science, Arts, Commerce.
2. Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent in the relevant stream and the candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for the unreserved category. Accepted exams - CBSE, ISC, State Boards.
3. Courses: B.Tech, B.E, Bachelor of Pharmacy, B.Sc., B.A., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Com., B.Ed, B.J.M.C, L.L.B with streams and specializations.
4. Exam Dates: There are two major exam sessions for university entrance, one in May and another in June. Re-exams in July.
5. Admission Process: It can be applied either online or off line. GO FOR ENTRANCE EXAM AS APPLICABLE. Attend counselling. Submit documents and fees. Confirm admission.
6. For admission in 2024: There is a specific timeframe for registration; this starts in October 2023. Examinations for admission through entrance test from February to April of academic year 2024 at various universities and colleges. The result is released in May, an individual is counselled in June, and an admission confirmation by August of the calendar year 2024.
1. All the faculties at Rama University offer Post Graduate degrees such as MBA, MCA, M.Tech, MSc, MA, M.Pharma, MBA, MCA, M.Tech are some of the most sought after courses among students.
2. MBA courses do not require any specific subject background; graduates in any field can apply. The CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/XAT entrance test are permitted. The work experience may also be taken into consideration.
3. The MCA eligibility requires possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field of study. The admission criterion vary through merit or entrance exam UPSEE.
4. Admission for M.Tech courses is done after B.Tech/B.A. Passed B. E. /B. Tech degree in the relevant branch with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates who have qualified GATE are preferred for admission to the M. Tech programme.
5. MSc admission requires students to possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree with at least a pass percentage of 50%. This is done through merit and the results of the entrance test that a candidate has to undertake.
6. MA admission takes into account the scores obtained in the Bachelor’s degree in the said academic discipline. Appropriate entrance tests are also taken into consideration for selecting the candidates for the shortlist.

2. Documents to be brought along: Original and photocopies of 10th and 12th marksheets, certificates, passport size photographs and any photo ID proof.
3. One needs to pay application fees online or by bank. Bring the completed form along with necessary documents to admission office. Get documents verified.
4. To obtain a schedule for a counselling session with the doctor. Choose the course and college depending on the result attained and the options available. Pay fees to formally secure a place in college or university.
5. Sign all paperwork and provide all necessary documents – admissions office, financial aid office. It also involves proceeding to the ID card section so as to collect his/her ID card and get a timetable from the respective department. Attend orientation program.

5. Depending on the University either download the application form for the Ph.D program or pick a form from the admissions office, complete the form as required, affix the necessary documents and submit the form to the department or University before the deadlines set.
