Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies located in Bhopal offers several courses in various disciplines such as Buddhist Studies, Comparative Religion & Philosophy, Prakrit, Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology, Computational Linguistics, Tourism & Heritage Management, Buddhism Tourism, Information Technology, & Applied Psychology. Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies in Bhopal has PhD programmes in Buddhist Studies, Comparative Religion & Philosophy, Prakrit & Pali Languages, Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology, Sanskrit & Indic Knowledge Systems and Performing Art. In general, the admission criteria for PhD programs state that the applicant should possess a Master’s degree in the pursued subject with at least 55% average marks. The entrance examination accepted across departments are UGC NET, JRF, SET, PET, or a sanction letter from external funding agencies only.
