The university of Gulbarga, Karnataka named, Sharnbasva University provides various UG and PG courses in Science, Commerce, Arts, Education and Law. For Engineering, a candidate needs to possess a Master’s degree in the concerned branch with not less than 55% of marks and GATE/NET qualification. Science departments recruit candidates with Master’s degree and 55% marks in the concerned subject with CSIR/UGC-NET/JRF or SLET/SET qualification. For Commerce and Management, pass in post graduation with minimum 55% marks and UGC-NET/SLET is mandatory. The Education department requires 55% marks in Master’s along with UGC-NET/SLET, while for PhD in Arts and Law, Master’s degree in relevant subject/discipline with not less than 55% aggregate marks is adequate.
