Sri Siddhartha University is based in Tumkur, Karnataka and the University provides different under graduate and post graduate courses in science, commerce, arts, engineering medical etc For every academic department and course, the admission criterion is set differently. For B.Tech Programs like Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning the only criterion for eligibility is one should have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as its courses of study and with an minimum of 50% average marks. Accepted entrance tests include the KCET, COMEDK, JEE Mains and the like. For BBA and BCA courses, the candidate must have passed 12th standard examination with 50% marks and PUC/ 12th standard examination is also valid. Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks is accepted in MBA and MCA programs and some entrance tests include KMAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT etc. For admission in MBBS and BDS courses, candidate must have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in their 12th standard examination and must clear NEET exam. Undergraduate programs in Arts and Commerce such as BA, B.Com, BBM & others admit 12th pass students with 45% aggregate, any stream.   

The major streams include Engineering, Medical, Computer Applications, Business management, Science, Commerce, Arts and humanities. B.Tech admission exam details are COMEDK which is conducted in May 2024, KCET conducted in April 2024, JEE Mains in April 2024. For medical & dental MBBS & BDS programs only NEET is conducted tentatively in May 2024 For other UG & PG programs exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT will be conducted between October 2023 to May 2024. The admission process begins in the month of May 2024 and it will be after the announcement of the 12th standard results. Nowadays students applying for admission have to send their application forms and fees online, scanning and uploading documents, entrance test scores and selection through counselling according to the merit and government of Karnataka reservation policy. At the moment, the university has approximately 5000 students who are enrolled for their classes online or on-campus.

- As earlier mentioned, SSU Tumkur is one of the universities that offer a full-time two-year MCA program.

- In addition to the PGCET scores, the candidates must possess a Bachelor degree with fifty percent marks in aggregate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates the percentage required is forty-five percent).

- As we know that the PGCET exam has three sections and they are General Knowledge, Mathematics, and General Aptitude. The total marks which is sum of both Mathematics and English is 100.

- The candidate should appear for the PGCET exam and after the results are declared, they have to apply to the SSU Tumkur separately for the MCA course and attach all the documents.
