SGSU is located in Gandhinagar, and it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs that come in various fields of study such as management, education, sciences, engineering, law, commerce, arts, physical education, and sports sciences. Among them are B.B.A, B.P.ED, B.Sc in sports science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Physical Education, Master of Science in sports science. The admission criteria of these programs need 10+2 pass or graduation in the relevant stream and minimum percentage marks varying between 45-60% based on the course. The exam accepted include GUJCET, GSEB, CBSE, Pearson UG/PG Entrances.
SGSU has full time campus programs in management law information technology, design and science, engineering, arts, sports education and research. The streams offered are B.Tech, BBA, B.Sc, BA, B.P.Ed ,LLB and B.Des. Admission process for the batch of 2024 will start about April -2024 based on state level entrance test like GUJCET.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo IDs like the Aadhaar card or the passport, the voter ID or the driving license or the PAN card as proof of identity and proof of age.
2. High school and passing certificates, which depict at least the minimum educational qualification of High School or 10+2 from a recognized board.
3. Documents of higher secondary education like the 12th standard marksheet and certificate issued by a recognized board listing the subjects studied.
4. This is if applying for a masters program with specialization and the overall percentage one has scored as indicated on the graduation degree marksheets and certificates.
5. Distinctions earned from participating in sports at the district, state or national competition to indicate one’s athletic prowess and accomplishment.
6. Recent passport-size photographs and other documents that may be required by the special conditions for admission or scholarship, fellowship, and grants.
1. Verify the eligibility as per the age limit, educational qualification, any sports activity, as prescribed by the university.
2. This form can be downloaded online or can be obtained from the office, complete and submit it before the due date along with any supporting documents required.
3. Sit for the entrance exam if any that is set by the university where you are applying.
4. Clarify the tests that were conducted by the selection committee for physical efficiency as well as for sports proficiency.
5. Go for counseling session if selected based on entrance examination results, athletic ability in case of sports quota and trial basis.
6. Finalise the admission process by making payments for the respective fees and submitting relevant documents to secure the admission.
