B.Sc Pathology is an undergraduate course of three years duration, which aims to make students understand diseases and infections. It is in this level that students are taken through causes, development and structural and functional changes diseases bring to organs and tissues. Some of the areas of study include general pathology, systemic pathology, clinical pathology, hematology, cytopathology, and molecular pathology.

The standard entrance examinations recognized for Bachelors in Pathology admission are NEET UG, AIIMS MBBS, JIPMER MBBS, AMU MBBS, BHU UET Medical, CUCET, and other state level examinations conducted by various universities and colleges. Most of the colleges also require class 12th PCB score for admissions. In addition to this, some of the colleges have provisions for the lateral entry of students in diploma courses to take direct admission in second year.

BSc Pathology Course Eligibility 2024

1. XII passed in science group with Biology, Physics, Chemistry as subjects from any recognized board securing minimum 50% in aggregate. 

2. Many of the colleges have pre-requisites like the candidate should have passed subjects such as English, Maths, Biology in 10+2.

3. The age limit for admission is not specified in most of the colleges offering the B.Sc Pathology course. 

4. If the concerned college demands entrance examination, you have to clear NEET and similar tests.

5. It is common to have a basic knowledge and interest in science subject which especially apply when undertaking this course.

6. Some colleges also require physical fitness and the ability to perform lab experiments correctly.
