The MBA degree is a post graduate program in business administration which is usually completed in 2 years and there are specializations in the areas of marketing and finance among others. The MBA (Marketing and Finance) program offers in-depth marketing concepts such as consumer behavior, Digital marketing, Brand management, and financial concepts like Corporate finance, Investment analysis, Capital markets. A full time MBA (Marketing and Finance) program usually takes about 2 years of study that can be split into 4-6 semesters.
The entrance examinations that are acceptable for admission to MBA colleges in India are CAT – Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs, MAT – Management Aptitude Test by AIMA, XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test by XLRI Jamshedi, CMAT – Common Management Admission Test by AICTE and some of the institutes like IIMs, FMS, MDI also have their own entrance tests. Passing any of these results further other qualification rounds such as GD, PI decides the probability of the admission.
