MBA in Systems Management is a two years full time post graduate management programme designed to prepare students for managing organizations’ technology, operations, supply chains and systems. In terms of specialization, the program offers sophisticated training on areas such as; operations research, project management, supply chain analysis, statistical analysis and information systems. Students discover how to align resources and work in line with specific goals and objectives to meet organizational needs in various functional areas.
The entrance test accepted for admission in MBA Systems Management are CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/ATMA and state level tests. The exams measure employability skills like quantitative ability test, data interpretation & logical reasoning, verbal ability test and general awareness test. The IIMs for instance have their own mini tests that they use to shortlist candidates for the personal interviews in order to admit students into their MBA programs under the systems management specialization.

1. The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. Candidates with technical or quantitative skills may be considered a priority.

3. The general category candidates should have at least 2 years full time work experience. Some relaxation in experience may be permitted to the candidates belonging to the reserved category where it is applicable.
4. Admission to this level is open to all students irrespective of their age. Nevertheless, in case where candidates have had prior work experience in the said positions, they can be considered during the selection process.
5. It is advisable to provide a statement of purpose that should include career objectives and reasons for selecting the systems management specialization.
6. There are GD/PI rounds for final selection from among the shortlisted candidates depending on past academics, entrance test results, work experience and interview.
