B.Tech (Robotics) is the Undergraduate engineering programme that spans a period of four years with an objective of providing knowledge in the design and use of robots as well as autonomous systems. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, control systems, sensors and actuators, and embedded systems; basic mechanical design; and programming are the subjects which students study to understand how to create and control robots.
The commonly recognised entrance tests for admission to B.Tech (Robotics) course are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and state level entrance tests. Some of the other examinations accepted by some of the institutes are BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, WBJEE, AP-EAMCET, etc Apart from getting through any of these entrance tests, there are some specific cut off marks that are set by different colleges and universities for admission to this B.Tech (Robotics) course. About 10+2 board performance particularly in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is also taken into consideration in most of the places for admission purposes.
