M.Sc Applied Chemistry is a course offered at the postgraduate level of study, which takes 2 years to complete and is devoted to the explanation of detailed concepts and practical uses of chemistry in industries and business. The program encompasses the areas of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry and their applications in various sectors such as chemical, food, pharmaceuticals.
The entrance examination that is considered valid for admission into M.Sc Applied Chemistry includes CUCET, JAM, GATE and other institute level examinations conducted by other colleges. A few colleges do admit students on the basis of merit/percentage of bachelor’s degree also. This course can be opted by the candidates who have completed B.Sc in relevant chemistry specializations.
