Oceanography is a postgraduate degree program offered to students under the name Master of Science (M.Sc) in Oceanography. The program normally takes 2 years, and covers areas of study that include; physical oceanography, chemical oceanography, marine geology, marine biology, coastal management, and many more. The students acquire knowledge about tools and techniques of oceanographic investigation and data analysis using computers, satellites, ships, buoys.
The entrance examination that can be used for joining M.Sc Oceanography programs in India include CUCET, JAM, GATE and University level tests.
