M.Tech in Chemical Engineering is a postgraduate course that provides in-depth knowledge of modern concepts and techniques in chemical engineering. The duration of an M.Tech Chemical Engineering course is 2 years on average. The curriculum offers the students both theoretical background and significant practical experience to prepare them for work in the chemical process industries or for further studies.
The two most common entrance tests that can be taken for admission into M.Tech Chemical Engineering are GATE and CEED. Even many other deemed universities and other colleges of IITs, NITs and private institutions also have their own entrance examinations. Apart from these examinations, there are also certain other prerequisites of the candidate that are associated with the M.Tech admission eligibility of the candidate based on the scores that he or she has obtained in his or her bachelor’s degree.
