Master of Science or M.Sc Chemistry is a postgraduate academic master’s degree for those persons who have completed their graduation in Chemistry or any equivalent field. The period of time in which an M.Sc Chemistry course can take is usually 2 years and is set in 4 semesters. The described course is an advanced one and covers inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry. In their studies, students obtain a comprehensive knowledge of numerous concepts within the sphere of chemistry based on integrated abstract chemical knowledge, scientific thinking abilities, and practical laboratory experience.
University offers M.Sc Chemistry program through CSIR UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship, GATE, IIT JAM Exam, CAT/XAT, national/state level entrance tests such as Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Jawahar Lal Nehru University and many more universities/institutions conduct their own entrance tests to select the students for a specific stream of Chemistry.
