Master of Science or M.Sc Chemistry is a postgraduate academic master’s degree for those persons who have completed their graduation in Chemistry or any equivalent field. The period of time in which an M.Sc Chemistry course can take is usually 2 years and is set in 4 semesters. MSc Chemistry Course Eligibility 2024

1. A candidate should have passed Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or any other allied subjects such as Biochemistry with a minimum of 50% average marks from a recognized University. 

2. Final year graduation students can also apply for provisional admission depending on the mark scores set by the institution.

3. It is also possible that a university may conduct entrance tests for admission and interviews may be conducted. 

4. It is followed as per Govt rules that relaxation in cut-off marks is allowed for the candidates belonging to the reserved category. 

5. The admission preference is generally provided to candidates who have passed CSIR-NET/GATE/JEST or other such national level tests in the top colleges. 

6. Some also take into consideration previous work experience in a chemical industry while recruiting students to take postgraduate chemistry program.
